Making NYE A Family Affair!🎉🎈

Some of us like to go to church⛪. Others of us like to hit up the club. 🎼Some of us do both church and the club.

If you're like us, you're thinking about family-friendly fun requiring minimal travel--especially after dinner.

Why not venture out this year as that girl? The one who hosts a small get-together of families for a safe and fun evening celebrating the new year?!

Here's how it's done :

• Get started with Punchbowl.com invites:  easy peasie!

Make sure to encourage moms to have the children to come over in jammies. Also, let your mom-friends know that the menu will feature everyone's best appetizers. (We love a  potluck! Whole Foods platters are entirely allowed.☺)

• 6 p.m. - Until:  DIY photobooth for selfies with props. Just download and print free printables and assemble ahead of time.

• 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.:  Child-operable activity stations that can be easily supervised by adults can be held every hour with different couples heading up instruction. We like a manicures 💅and makeup station for girls, a tattoo station for boys. We also like a vision board making activity and simple science experiments 🔬 for the lot. Just be sure to prep the materials beforehand. Remember that coloring printables and simple puzzles are great fall-backs between sets. 

• 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.: Anywhere during this time-frame, cue up some favorite cartoons or movies from your collective childhood to experience with the children. When was the last time you saw The Wiz, for example.
• 12 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.: Have children to bring stories to have read for the wind-down and beddie-bye.
