Making Spring Festival Fun with a DIY Flower Crown 👑

We're enjoying the weekend with some work activity. (Side hustles can help you get to some important goals. 😊💙💚💜) We're also working out and enjoying some downtime at home. A great self-care day activity for us is crafting!

While we're streaming Coachella concerts to enjoy music from some of our favorite musicians and singers including Sabrina Claudio and FKJ, we're thinking about making these cute crowns!

Delicious and Healthy Eats for Coachella and other Fun Spring Flings!

If you are lucky enough to get a vacation house or rental for Coachella or some of the other hot spring tickets, consider entertaining at your spot with some really cool light menu ideas.

After a late night of music concerts like the ones that characterize Coachella, naturally you'd prefer something quick and easy to enjoy for a breakfast.

Vanessa Cantave has a salmon sandwich that is perfect.

If you're chilling at home with friends in between concerts, make some delicious festival foods in-house like this delicious chipotle taco salad with our friends at foodheavenmadeeasy.com.

Lastly, we have a refreshing beverage suggestion in the video below from our very own Confetti Moment YouTube channel! We're drinking kombucha! Learn how kombucha can keep your gut healthy while you're enjoying all that great Festival Food!

Cooking with Kids!

It's quite natural for most moms to be in the kitchen preparing meals or snacks for their families.  But how often are we bringing the kids into the kitchen with us? We know it can be difficult to bring the children in for weekday dinner  preparations when everyone is on a tight schedule. Still, we are challenging everyone to bring the children into the kitchen as often as possible. Cooking with your children can be a great opportunity to work on math and science skills for example. Tasks like measuring out ingredients, gauging temperatures, and looking at solids versus liquids all make for great teachable moments. Start with snacks or easy desserts. Below is a fun recipe featuring ice cream!
