Gina Thompson and Other Greaty Ladies of the 90s?

THROWBACK PHOTO: Here's a picture of me from the summer at auditions for a soap opera. Lot's of fun. I was in the ATL today and the weather was nice! I'm checking online today and re-discover this lady of hip hop soul and fall in love all over again with early Bad Boy flavors that helped to keep me moving through undergrad to get that first degree. Wow! Okay so now I'm on the huntress vibe now. Where is lady? Can we get that career jumpstarted? Respect!

While I'm working on registration for the next round of post-bacc poli sci classes, I'm staying chill, eating well w/ the vegan bbq tofu from the vegan Rastafari spot on Mitchell Street in the ATL known as calabash. A facsimile for those who won't be in the ATL for dinner tonite:

Recipe:

Slice tofu 1/2&34; thick. Press flat 30-45 minutes. Dip in breading mixture. Pan fry in a little hot oil (vegetable, or corn) until golden brown.

Breading:

Mix together:

1/2 cup flour
2 TBSP. nutritional yeast flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp each basil, oregano, garlic, pepper

Dip moist slices of tofu into breading, then quickly pan fry in oil. put fried tofu in pan- or glass dish cover with BBQ sauce 350°F for 20 minutes. serve with rice or as a sandwich.

Carmelized onions and green peppers to top it as it was served.

By the way I love the twists posted here. Look for details on my upcoming visit to Khamit Kinks.
