Georgia State University College of Law: Looking Good!

I just got back from a tour of the campus and a chat with the good folks in the admissions office. GSU is a great value for the legal education. I can just see myself now: latte (soy chai, of course) in one hand, and a panthers pom pom in the other. Go Panthers!

I am busy at the Arrington Law Firm organizing files gallore. I hope to work on some new projects soon.

Jamila--fellow prospective law school student and all around BFF #1--and I hope to tour the new Howard University School of Law library. For all those other prospectives look up 1L.

Hotep All,

I'm still doing the thing at the firm aforementioned. I'm still working with Marvin Arrington, Jr. of the Arrington Law Firm as well. Both firms are forwarded in all matters concerning law, I hope, with my help. Looking forward to your comments as well.

Law School News

Florida has more than just the delights of Miami and Disney. Its got Florida A&M (FAMU) and FAMU School of Law in Tallahassee.

I've added FAMU to the list of schools to which I will apply. Besides studying, I can enjoy swimming under sunny skies and great fish dinners. I'm excited.

Lots of FAMU alumni and students will be in Atlanta this weekend for a big football game against TSU. Don't forget to wear your orange fall separates!

Olympus Fashion Week

For post-Essence magazine fashion heiresses such as yours truly, few events such as New York's Olympus Fashion Week cause excitement supreme.

If you're lucky enough to have your face in the place tomorrow September 8 through next week, be sure to check out shows by Kimora Lee Simmons and Tracy Reese.

I've considered taking the Greyhound bus complete with a CD player, vegan snacks, and the hottest outfits currently in my closet. We'll see if I get there. Many events should be open to the fashion savvy public.

Law Office Intern Updates

I've returned to my post as intern with with an entertainment law firm in Atlanta after enjoying very valuable stints with firms throughout the city. I've learned to step up my time management game as well as the necessity in perfecting the art of balance, period.

I've got a special project that I'm knee deep in and hoping for many more.
