I am committed to doing my very best to follow the advice of Na'im Akbar and maintain self before I attempt to assist with family and community. There are basic things to do for self and then family and community in the spirit of daily Kwaanza living without becoming overwhelmed to help build momentum. For instance, I can definitely support locally owned and managed black businesses. I also can reaffirm our purpose in living awesomely by creating and reading daily a manifesto affirming superstardom with me just being me.
