Recipe Card Gift Ideas featuring Sweet Vegan Recipe

Today we're making recipe cards for BFFs, neighbors or just for ourselves.

Our DIY fun is inspired by  Jenne Claiborne's  debut cookbook "Sweet Potato Soul."  This book  has so many great vegan versions of  classic and new soulful favorites.

1. Select some colorful  index cards or cut pieces of colorful cardstock  into 5" x 7" pieces.

 

2. Next,  select  a few bottles of your favorite nail polish colors.  We like to use  bottles of polish that are barely full.  That way,  we have a use for the last of the polish or avoid throwing away  a percentage of our investments.

3.  Drizzle drops of polish  all about your cards.

4. Once  your beautifully decorated card has dried,  write your recipe of choice on the flip side.

We chose to make recipe cards of a Jenne's quick and easy banana nice cream recipe. If you don't have time to do the DIY, simply forward the video below to that friend or neighbor. The video features the nice cream recipe.
